MiX Telematics are a global leader in vehicle tracking and fleet management managing over 700,000 mobile assets globally.
Post credit crunch, UK business was getting tough. Margins were falling and the buyer landscape changing. MiX knew they had to raise their game and get closer to the more influential decision makers to win new, bigger contracts and grow their business.
At TDG, we challenged the conventions and looked beyond the traditional telematics space to exploit new opportunities. Focusing on key vertical markets, in this case the Police sector to gain greater traction.
We took a generic, homogenous offering and brought to life a more targeted proposition that increased relevancy and connected with key audiences.
Development started with product naming and brand then the campaign rolled-out fully across Print Ads, DM, event collateral and Exhibition materials.
Talking directly to senior Police Officers and their Fleet managers, our multi-channeled campaign gave these hard to reach people another way to manage their budgets and hopefully reduce the impact of budget cuts on their personnel and the service they provide to the public.
This was a significant change to the way MiX approached new business and was a first for this product-type.
